Kishugu ATO provides aviation training courses on a full- or part time basis. Our students graduate with a recognised Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL), whether for recreational flying or a career in aviation. We structure our courses around our clients’ needs and time frames.

By doing your Private Pilots License (PPL) at Kishugu Aviation Training Organisation, you have the advantage of flying in an advanced aircraft during your ab initio training which takes you quicker through the ranks.
Another benefit is that Kishugu is a firefighting company with a massive fleet of firefighting aircraft which need to be ferried across the country for the winter and summer fire seasons each year. This places you, the Private Pilots License (PPL) holder, who needs to build up hours for your Commercial Pilots License (CPL), in a position to ferry aircraft across the country. Not only do you build up to 32 hours over two years out of the 150 hours you need, but you also save up to R70,000 on these hours as the company carries the cost of ferrying aircraft.
Our training academy is based at the Nelspruit Airfield, which is located close to the control area of Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA). Our location provides our students with a professional and educational environment, as we often train at KMIA.
