1 Cargo

Staff or crew can be rotated from isolated locations such small mining villages in neighbouring countries. Anything from off-shore and mining companies to maintenance organisations who require the delivery of spares or other goods from various parts of Southern Africa, can make use of Kishugu Aviation’s aerial services.

We provide aerial work flights for the transportation of mechanical, scientific or industrial spares or cargo to African destinations for mines, mills, agriculture, forestry, aviation replacement parts or other large concerns where downtime is critical.

Aircraft we use for cargo:

  • Cessna 210/Cessna 206/Cessna 182
  • Squirrel (AS350-B2)
  • Bell Long Ranger (B206L)
  • Bell Jet Ranger (B206)

2 Anti-Poaching

Kishugu provides the first line of defence for conservation areas where endangered species such as rhinos need protection from poachers.

Our anti-poaching pilots have specialised training to conduct night flights while wearing advanced Night Vision Goggles (NVG). This ensures we effectively prevent poaching in protected parks and nature reserves across Africa.

Kishugu Aviation assists in flying the police to crime scenes to do investigations. With our specialised aircraft and pilots, NVG can also be used for patrolling to fight against crime.

We can configure most aircraft with NVG allowing us to adapt to our clients’ needs.

3 Darting and airlifting of wildlife

Kishugu Aviation provides darting and wildlife airlifting capabilities for large endangered species such as rhino and other wildlife species from wilderness areas to predetermined off-loading sites.

Apart from this, we specialises in herding of animals which escaped out of parks such as lions, wild dogs and elephants which we herd back into these parks, conservations areas or private land.

The Huey is a workhorse when it comes to game lifting and moving and the Squirrel, Robinson R44, and Jet Ranger for darting and game capturing.

4 Disaster Relief

Kishugu Avation’s ethos, for the greater good, is one of the major drives behind our disaster relief operations. In the past we have assisted and supported local and other African destinations in their disaster relief operations where natural disasters have struck.

The Mozambican floods in 2015 was but one of the major efforts in which Kishugu Aviation was a part of.

Other disaster relief efforts such as flooding, firefighting, drought relief and cargo supplies to these areas forms part of our services.

The Huey is one of the best aircraft to use in these efforts as it can large quantities of cargo can be transported at once.

5 Utility and construction work

Kishugu Aviation has qualified and experienced pilots to do utility and construction work as well as mining exploration with our Hueys and Squirrels. An added service to this is to assist with surveys.
